Selection Process

The Asia’s Fastest Growing Companies Award mainly strive to acknowledge those companies who have managed to set new bars as far as business excellence is concerned. Regardless of the scale at which you operate, be your firm be a small, mid or even large scale organization, you are totally eligible to participate in these awards. One core concern that we have is that the company should make a sound contribution to both the societal and economic development and should work hard in order to achieve their business goal and even the vision and mission that they have.

We have certain set of criteria that we have listed for the sake of helping us cull the most deserving of candidates and thereby confer the prestigious award to them. We are of the opinion that every company who is worthy and eligible should get their due recognition and honor.

How does it work?

Nomination filing (Level 1)

The preliminary step is the nomination. All companies need to file in their nomination on the website itself. The companies can choose to self-nominate or they can also be nominated by a third party or associate. Basically, if as a business, you believe that you have it in you to set a benchmark or do something out of the box and innovative, you can nominate yourself and be hopeful that you will shine through.
(The nomination criteria and the form can be viewed under the "Nomination" section on our website.)

Initial Screening (Level 2)

We have a research team in place that works on the filed nominations and then screens them. Based on the submitted details, the different companies are then segregated into varied categories based on the industries they belong to. Then upon studying other details, they are further shortlisted.

Evaluation (Level 3):

Those companies that successfully pass the screening round are then thoroughly evaluated out and there are various factors that are taken into consideration by our team. Some of the salient points that we take into consideration are as follows:

Work culture

Employee retention

Business sustainability

Leadership model

Corporate social responsibility

Tech know how and expertise

Financial alertness

Quality management

Market research

Corporate ethics

Brand equity

This isn’t an exhaustive list as there are several other aspects that are thoroughly weighed. The companies are all marked from a scale of 1 to 10. The IBC market research team makes it a point to conduct a thorough market research in order to do so.

Scoring By Jury (Level 4):

This is the fourth step in the process as the judging panel continue to further evaluate and rate on a scale of 1-10 the shortlisted companies. The panel comprises of people hailing from different professions and varying industries and verticals. Some may be from finance while others may be from international trade, law, finance, marketing, and more.

The Final Stage (Level 5)

This is the last and the final stage where the scores by the research team and the judging panel are cumulatively added. Based upon the net scores and the rankings, the winners are announced and the winning companies get their share of name and fame.
(It is to be noted that the cumulative score should be a minimum of 7.5 for qualifying as a winner. It is also noteworthy to mention that the results of the winner and even the decision to disqualify any company rests solely on the jury and management committee of IBC.)
